About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Security Engineer to join our team at Ambience Healthcare. This role focuses on building and maintaining secure systems that protect our platform at scale, including application security, cloud security, detection and response, and security primitives for other teams.

Key Responsibilities

→Design and implement secure-by-default patterns across backend and infrastructure
→Own security posture across cloud environment: IAM, network boundaries, secrets management
→Build and operate detection pipelines, alerts, and runbooks
→Extend and integrate security tools through code
→Set technical direction for security across teams

Requirements

✓7+ years of hands-on security engineering experience
✓Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in Python, Go, or TypeScript
✓Proven experience in security architecture and systems hardening
✓Hands-on with vulnerability management and penetration testing
✓Strong cloud security background (AWS and/or GCP)
✓Collaborative and pragmatic approach to security
