Job Opening: RT Level II Technician – Weld Quality

📍 Location: Baton Rouge, LA (Local Candidates Only)

American Piping Inspection is seeking a Radiographic Testing (RT) Level II Technician to join our growing team in the Baton Rouge area. This position is ideal for skilled professionals who are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to delivering quality weld inspection services.

Position Details: • Conduct radiographic testing (RT) inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance with industry codes and client specifications. • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. • Work closely with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure safe and efficient project execution. • Local to Baton Rouge, though travel may be required depending on project needs.

Qualifications: • Certified RT Level II in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A or equivalent. • Strong knowledge of weld inspection standards and codes. • Experience with film interpretation and digital RT a plus. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Must be reliable, safety-minded, and able to work in varying site conditions.

Compensation: • Pay is DOE. • Travel opportunities may be available.
