About the Role
Join AIR as a Quantitative Researcher with our Health Innovations team. This role involves unraveling the challenges of healthcare quality, costs, and access through rigorous research and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead or contribute to the design and execution of rigorous research and evaluation projects
- →Apply appropriate quantitative methods to collect, manage, analyze, and interpret data
- →Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- →Support proposal development through writing technical sections and developing budgets
- →Manage small to mid-sized tasks or project components
- →Mentor and guide junior staff through regular feedback and training
- →Engage with stakeholders and partners through meetings and briefings
- →Contribute to a collaborative environment that values diverse perspectives
Requirements
- ✓PhD in a relevant field or a Master’s degree with at least four years of quantitative research experience
- ✓Experience conducting applied quantitative health research or analytics
- ✓Experience working with large datasets, particularly administrative or health-related data
- ✓Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to analytic workflows
- ✓Experience interpreting analytic results and contributing to reports or presentations
- ✓Experience working on research or evaluation projects for federal, state, or local agencies
- ✓Familiarity with CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal health programs preferred
- ✓Strong quantitative and data analysis skills, including experience with statistical and data tools such as SAS, SQL, Stata, R
- ✓Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex information
- ✓Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
- ✓Proven ability to coach junior staff and foster inclusive team dynamics
- ✓Strong organizational and time management skills
- ✓Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data analysis and report writing
