We’re Hiring: QA Automation Engineer (Relocation to Malaysia)
We are currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is open to all nationalities, and candidates must be willing to relocate to Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements - Execute manual and automated test cases based on defined test scenarios and requirements - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to identify, reproduce, and track defects - Support test planning, test execution, and defect management across multiple environments - Maintain test data, test results, and QA documentation in line with QA standards - Assist in creating automation scripts or enhancing existing ones under guidance - Participate in functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product quality - Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks clearly to the QA Lead or Project Manager - Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and ideas to enhance QA processes
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field - Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably with Insurance industry exposure - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, STLC, and defect lifecycle - Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Jira, Xray, Postman, or similar - Strong knowledge of automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Appium) - Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#) - Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices is an advantage - Knowledge of BDD frameworks - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Good written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
