About the Role
We are looking for an English Subtitle Editor to join our team at AMO Pictures, an international production studio. This role focuses on creating and editing English subtitles for video content across various media products.
Key Responsibilities
- βCreate subtitles according to video material and script, following Netflix standards for subtitle display
- βQuality control of subtitles (checking grammar, punctuation, etc.)
- βCommunicate with post-production department leads, Mastering Editors Team, and Dubbing Team
Requirements
- βEnglish language proficiency at C1 level (experience as a translator or proofreader is a plus)
- βKnowledge of subtitling software (Subtitle Edit, AegiSub, etc.)
- βKnowledge of common formats (SubRip, etc.)
- βBasic understanding of Microsoft Office tools
