Software Engineer (React)
We are looking for a skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join the Modeling Integrations team at our new Engineering Capability Center in Gurugram, India. As a key member of our Causal Modeling organization, you will be responsible for building the intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that enhance the Anaplan platform. If you are passionate about creating exceptional user experiences and have deep expertise in the React ecosystem, we want to hear from you.
Your Role & Responsibilities
β’ Take ownership of the end-to-end development of complex frontend features, from technical design to implementation and deployment.
β’ Architect, build, and maintain reusable UI components and state management patterns for our long-lived, complex applications.
β’ Write clean, efficient, and highly testable code while actively participating in design and code reviews to maintain a high engineering bar.
β’ Champion frontend best practices, focusing on performance, accessibility, and creating a consistent user experience.
β’ Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into polished and functional UIs.
β’ Debug and solve complex frontend challenges, ensuring our applications are robust and reliable.
Your Skills & Experience
β’ Proven professional experience building, testing, and deploying production-grade web applications using React.
β’ Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES2015+), HTML, and CSS.
β’ Strong experience with modern frontend architecture, including advanced state management patterns (e.g., Redux).
β’ Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques and profiling tools.
β’ Extensive experience writing automated tests for the frontend (Unit, integration, and E2E tests with tools like Jest and Playwright).
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong eye for detail and user experience.
β’ Strong collaboration and communication skills.
β’ Must have minimum experience of 4-8 years .
Helpful Experience
β’ Familiarity with consuming backend APIs (REST, GraphQL).
β’ Experience with backend technologies like Java, Kotlin, or NodeJS.
β’ Exposure to deployment and infrastructure technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git).
β’ Experience working in a globally distributed team.
