About the Role
Applaudo is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to build internal platforms that empower development teams. This role focuses on improving developer experience through self-service tooling, automation, and scalable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, write, and maintain reusable Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure provisioning
- →Implement a self-service portal for developers to request sandbox environments
- →Research, plan, and document the self-service portal implementation
- →Define workflows and automation to improve developer experience
- →Champion Platform Engineering practices across the organization
- →Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams
- →Continuously improve platform reliability and efficiency
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of experience with AWS architecture and services
- ✓Proven experience as a Platform Engineer
- ✓Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Terraform Cloud
- ✓Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD
- ✓Hands-on experience with AWS ECS and container services
- ✓Experience provisioning sandbox environments
- ✓Understanding of Platform Engineering principles
- ✓Strong English communication skills
- ✓Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (nice to have)
