About the Role
Apply Digital is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Developer for a 12-month contract position. This role involves building, coding, testing, and deploying complex email programs in enterprise environments while collaborating with Customer Success and Strategy teams to deliver scalable, high-quality email solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Produce and maintain responsive email templates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- →Implement SFMC-specific features such as dynamic content, data-driven logic, and personalization within templates
- →Collaborate with email developers, Customer Success Managers, Technical Consultants, and Strategists to resolve issues and support deployments
- →Participate in regular email stand-ups to prioritize work and ensure timely delivery
- →Work directly with client teams to field technical questions, respond to feedback, and collaborate on in-progress builds
- →Ensure emails comply with client brand standards, email marketing best practices, and CAN-SPAM regulations
- →QA and test email messages using tools such as Litmus and Email on Acid for cross-client and cross-device compatibility
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of professional email production and development experience
- ✓Extensive, hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
- ✓Strong mastery of HTML and CSS specific to email development
- ✓Proficiency with JSON
- ✓Working knowledge of APIs, including how to make GET and POST requests
- ✓Solid understanding of data feeds and how data is used within marketing platforms
- ✓Strong grasp of responsive email code structures and cross-device rendering considerations
- ✓Clear, professional communication skills, including direct client communication around testing, QA, and updates
- ✓Ability to receive feedback, clarify requirements, and iterate on work as needed
- ✓Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud scripting, including AMPScript and Server-Side JavaScript
- ✓Hands-on experience implementing dynamic content, personalization logic, and data extensions within SFMC
