About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, reliable Robot Network / Infrastructure Engineer to join our Operations team at Apptronik. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining the network infrastructure that connects our robots to edge systems and cloud services, ensuring high performance, secure segmentation, and reliable connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and deploy Wi-Fi, VLANs, segmentation, and network security for robot operations.
- →Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and site architecture.
- →Support site readiness assessments, connectivity testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- →Monitor network performance, diagnose latency and packet-loss issues, and ensure high uptime.
- →Maintain OT network standards, architecture diagrams, and operational documentation.
- →Deployment of Robots within our Robot Park location and at customer sites to ensure network connectivity and provide software support.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with a focus on Networks
- ✓3–5+ years network engineering experience (Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, Meraki, etc.).
- ✓Strong understanding of wireless systems and OT/IoT network design.
- ✓Familiarity with network security fundamentals and best practices.
- ✓Advanced knowledge and experience with Ansible, Linux, ROS, Python, C++, and Docker
