About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our engineering organization at Arch. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant scope, where you'll own complex systems and set technical direction for our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect and drive complex technical initiatives from conception to production, focusing on scalability and maintainability
- →Set technical direction for core platform systems, ensuring performance, security, and reliability at scale
- →Partner with product, design, and data teams to deliver high-impact features end to end
- →Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance
- →Identify and resolve systemic engineering challenges that impact team velocity
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience building and scaling web-based software products
- ✓Track record of delivering complex technical projects with measurable cross-team impact
- ✓Deep expertise in full-stack development, distributed systems, or large-scale backend architecture
- ✓Experience influencing technical direction across teams without formal authority
- ✓Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts
