About the Role

We are looking for a CI/CD Engineer to join Archer, an aerospace company based in San Jose, California. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD workflows and automated testing pipelines for the GNC and Vehicle Simulation groups.

Key Responsibilities

→Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD workflows and automated testing pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and TeamCity.
→Support developing and maintaining automated toolchains for generating, compiling, and deploying Simulink and MATLAB code across multiple targets.
→Architect and manage High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure to support large-scale simulations and testing.
→Manage critical software interfaces between the "Virtual Vehicle" and downstream platforms.
→Develop C/C++ wrapper functions and harnesses to integrate compiled code and external libraries within the MATLAB/Simulink environment.
→Act as a cross-functional engineering multiplier, contributing to vehicle simulation modeling, physics tooling, or GNC integration tasks.
→Serve as the primary technical bridge between the Flight Dynamics & Control team and the Platform embedded software team.

Requirements

✓BS/Advanced Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
✓Foundational understanding of aerospace principles, vehicle dynamics, or GNC concepts.
✓Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink, including auto-code generation tools.
✓Strong proficiency in modern C/C++ and experience integrating C/C++ with Simulink.
✓Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or similar platforms.
✓Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or MATLAB scripting.
✓Ability to use and leverage modern LLMs and AI-based coding tools.
