About the Role
We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our team at ARC’TERYX. This role involves owning the brand-specific slice of the Workday integration fabric inside a shared tenant, designing, building, operating, and continuously hardening every brand-owned connector, middleware flow, EIB, and custom Studio integration that moves people data between Workday and Arc’teryx downstream systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build brand-specific Workday integrations
- →Operate and maintain integration flows between Workday and downstream systems
- →Raise cross-brand impact assessments and provide test evidence
- →Participate in monthly Integration & Architecture Review and quarterly HR Tech Operating Meetings
- →Mentor junior team members and enforce reusable patterns
- →Drive the shift to event-driven/API-first architecture
- →Act as the primary technical escalation point for all Arc’teryx Workday integration incidents
- →Conduct semi-annual regression testing of all brand integrations
- →Perform root-cause analysis and fix break-fix tickets
- →Define and enforce Arc’teryx-specific reusable patterns and standards
- →Own data connectivity of people data across internal systems and downstream vendors
- →Participate in a shared on-call rotation
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience delivering and supporting enterprise-grade integrations in complex environments
- ✓Strong expertise in Workday integration stack
- ✓Expert-level Workday Studio for high-volume, logic-heavy integrations
- ✓Advanced EIB configuration for high-speed bulk inbound/outbound integrations
- ✓Experience with Core Connectors, calculated fields, and pre-built templates
- ✓Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical topics
- ✓Ability to build robust error handling and monitoring mechanisms
- ✓Experience with XML/XSLT/XPath transformations, SOAP/REST/WWS APIs, and file handling
- ✓Understanding of Workday security fundamentals
- ✓Experience with enterprise integration patterns and standards
- ✓Ability to work in a shared-tenant environment
