About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant - Finance to join our team at ARCβTERYX. This role involves designing and deploying SAP S4 FI/CO solutions to align business needs with module and solution functions. You will work closely with business counterparts to create SAP solutions that enable and improve business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- βFacilitate the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP S4 FI/CO and associated modules
- βAssist in delivery of all month-end/year-end closing and reports
- βCoordinate and execute Change Requests from Process design through Functional Specifications and Implementation
- βMaintain ongoing collaboration with business stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements
- βLead stakeholders in detailed business process blueprint activities
- βPrepare detailed functional specifications for development activities
- βExecute unit testing, functional testing, and system integration testing
- βEnsure 2nd/3rd level support and troubleshoot issues
- βParticipate in the development and review of training materials
- βMaintain updated knowledge on SAP best-practices and technologies
Requirements
- βRelevant university degree, certifications, or technical diploma in Accounting
- β8+ years of SAP Finance/Controlling Functional experience including configuration
- β6+ yearsβ experience in SAP S4 systems implementation and sustainment
- βThorough knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Special Purpose Ledger, Cost element accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis
- βStrong knowledge of integration between Finance and other functional modules
- βStrong knowledge of SAP reporting tools
- βExperience with Solution manager and SAP methodology
- βExcellent collaboration and communication skills
- βAbility to travel internationally and participate in operational activities outside of normal working hours
- βProactive in identifying issues and developing solutions
- βHighly flexible and adaptable
- βAble to balance autonomy and collaboration
