About the Role
We are seeking an Export Compliance Manager to oversee export compliance operations across Singapore and India. This role ensures cross-border movements of goods, technology, and services align with local and international regulations, serving as a key advisor to supply chain, legal, and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Conduct export control order screening to ensure compliance with US and regional laws
- →Manage export permit applications via Singapore’s TradeNet/TradeWeb and India’s DGFT portal
- →Perform Know Your Customer due diligence by screening new partners
- →Support product export control classification procedures
- →Design and deliver training modules on export compliance policies
- →Develop and enhance Internal Compliance Programs
- →Perform internal audits and risk management
- →Act as primary contact for government audits
Requirements
- ✓Strong understanding of export control regulations in APAC and US
- ✓Experience with TradeNet, TradeWeb, and DGFT systems
- ✓Ability to classify products under export control regulations
- ✓Knowledge of trade sanctions and embargoes
- ✓Experience with internal compliance program development
- ✓Audit and risk management experience
- ✓Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
