About the Role
Armada is seeking a Software Developer to join their edge computing startup. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and services that run on container runtime like Docker. They will work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and maintain microservices and applications using Golang or Java
- →Develop features for dynamic network management, including automatic failover, load balancing, and path selection
- →Implement monitoring and alerting systems for high availability and performance
- →Design and build scalable APIs and services for network automation
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- →Debug and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters and applications
- →Implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging
- →Write comprehensive tests to ensure code reliability and stability
- →Stay up-to-date with industry trends in software defined networks, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development
Requirements
- ✓Active TS/SCI clearance
- ✓4-7 years of experience
- ✓Proven experience in developing applications using Golang or Java
- ✓Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration
- ✓Familiarity with client-go and Kubernetes API
- ✓Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- ✓Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and logging tools like the ELK stack
- ✓Solid knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
- ✓Understanding of SD-WAN architecture and smart network principles
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
- ✓Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- ✓Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment
- ✓U.S. Citizenship
