iOS Engineer, Mobile at Asana

We’re looking for an engineer to help us build a seamless experience for our users who are on the go. We work hard to maintain a codebase and a culture that is a joy to work in by combining tried and true mobile best practices with a focus on user-centric usability and design. We stick to standard languages like Swift, and we work with mobile-focused backend engineers. You’ll delight users with new features and improvements, working closely with our award-winning Design team, and supported by our world-class Product Managers. You’ll contribute to the technical direction of the app’s internals and the team’s workflows. Software Engineers at Asana are quickly trusted to own major parts of both the codebase and our processes through the Areas of Responsibility system. We expect you to thrive as a leader in defining and solving problems, with mutual support from your peers. This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule - in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. We offer a Contract of Employment (UoP) for our employees in Poland. What you’ll achieve: • Design, implement, and support product features rooted in customer problems, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, user researchers, and other engineers • Champion best practices in product, system, and code design • Mentor engineers who are newer in their career or developing new skills • Support partner teams to ship features across web and mobile About you: • Passion for creating amazing user experiences • Experience building a complex software product in a team environment • Strong communicator and collaborator • Good judgment for balancing scrappiness and long-term code maintainability • 5+ years of experience developing, releasing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications • Knowledge of internet technologies • Experience working in large, high-quality codebases • Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making What we offer: • Generous, transparent and fair compensation system (base salary and generous Restricted Stock Unit for Asana Inc.) • Contract of Employment (with 50% tax deductible costs for author’s rights usage for Engineers) • Health insurance with dental and travel coverage (Lux Med) • Lunch catering on the days that you work from the office • Vacation Allowance • Career growth budget • Home office setup budget • Gym/Fitness card • Fertility healthcare and family-forming support with Carrot • Mental health support in Modern Health • Group life insurance • Holiday allowance • MacBooks with all necessary accessories For this role, the estimated base salary range is between 23,667-35,667 PLN gross monthly on the contract of employment (UoP). The actual base salary will vary based on various factors and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base compensation range for this role may be modified.
