About the Role
We are seeking a Speech Software Engineer to spearhead the architectural evolution of our voice infrastructure. This role involves rebuilding our core speech stack from the ground up to support the next generation of real-time customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect and modernize scalable, high-availability voice infrastructure
- →Optimize performance of multi-threaded server frameworks for real-time audio streams
- →Build robust ASR > LLM > TTS pipelines for concurrent call processing
- →Develop logic for handling media streams between clients and ML models
- →Create advanced monitoring and load-testing tools for high-concurrency voice traffic
- →Collaborate with Speech Scientists and Research Engineers to integrate models
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of software engineering experience with production-grade infrastructure
- ✓Background in building ASR/TTS products at scale with foundational LLMs
- ✓Expert-level proficiency in Golang, Python, or willingness to learn
- ✓Deep understanding of audio processing, codecs, network protocols, and buffering
- ✓Strong background in object-oriented design and modular system architecture
- ✓Ability to navigate and refactor large codebases while transitioning to new architectures
