<p>We are seeking a <strong>Social Media & Video Content Strategist</strong> to take ownership of our organic social media presence. This role is ideal for someone who is both <strong>hands-on with video editing</strong> and <strong>strategic in content planning</strong>, with a strong understanding of how social content converts viewers into <strong>high-quality leads or clients</strong> β not just views.</p>
<p>This is a long-term role with room to grow as the brand expands across platforms.</p>
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<h3>Video Editing & Content Production</h3>
<ul>
<li>Edit short-form video content for <strong>Instagram (Reels)</strong> and other short-form platforms
<ul>
<li>Typical length: ~1 minute</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Edit longer-form video content for <strong>YouTube</strong>
<ul>
<li>Typical length: ~5β7 minutes</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Assemble clean, engaging edits (no "over-the-top" effects required)</li>
<li>Ensure videos are optimized for retention and platform best practices</li>
</ul>
<h3>Content Strategy & Planning</h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop <strong>daily, weekly, and monthly content plans</strong></li>
<li>Work collaboratively to decide what content should be filmed next</li>
<li>Identify patterns in performance and suggest improvements</li>
<li>Plan content with <strong>intentional conversion goals</strong>, not just engagement</li>
</ul>
<h3>Organic Growth & Optimization</h3>
<ul>
<li>Focus on <strong>organic social media growth</strong> (no paid ads required initially)</li>
<li>Analyze what content performs well vs. poorly</li>
<li>Run <strong>split tests</strong> on hooks, formats, and posting strategies</li>
<li>Make data-informed recommendations to improve reach and conversions</li>

<h3>Posting & Scheduling</h3>

<li>Manage posting schedules across platforms</li>
<li>Ensure content is published consistently and on time</li>
<li>Maintain an organized content calendar</li>
