The Opportunity
As a Senior Creative Designer (Motion Graphics) at Atomi, you'll own the creative output that shapes how the world experiences our brand across marketing campaigns, product launches, and an ever-expanding platform used by students and educators in Australia and Canada.
You'll bring ideas from concept through to final animation, and your work will genuinely matter. But this role goes beyond execution. We're looking for someone who contributes to the bigger creative conversation, helps shape how we tell our story in motion, and elevates the standard for what great looks like at Atomi.
You'll thrive here if you work autonomously, take pride in the craft, and know how to move fast without cutting corners.
At Atomi, we move quickly and value transparency. Once you're in the interview process, you'll receive clear feedback and meaningful insights from the team. For this role, you can expect:

What You'll Do
β’ Lead the end-to-end creative process across digital campaigns, product marketing, social, and brand from concept through to final delivery.
β’ Produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for product features, landing pages, social ads, and email campaigns.
β’ Design and produce assets across multiple channels and formats, including social media, paid media, presentations, and events collateral.
β’ Bring Atomi's brand to life in motion, animating product stories, feature launches, and campaign content that connects with students, teachers, and parents.
β’ Ensure brand consistency and visual quality across all digital and social touchpoints.
β’ Act as a creative advocate internally, helping partner teams understand the value of ideas, well-executed design, and brand-aligned execution.
β’ Evaluate and integrate AI-powered creative tools to accelerate production without compromising craft.
What You'll Bring to Atomi
β’ A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end creative work across brand and marketing, with motion and animation as a core part of your practice. A portfolio is required to be considered for this role.
β’ Solid proficiency across industry-standard design and motion tooling. We work across Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other tools, and we care more about the quality of your output and your ability to pick up new tools than any specific stack.
β’ Proven experience producing motion graphics, animations, and video content, including product or explainer videos.
β’ Excellent visual design craft across layout, typography, colour, and composition, with a sharp eye for consistency and detail.
β’ Previous experience in a SaaS, tech, or digital-first environment. You understand how design functions within a product-led brand.
β’ Strong art direction instincts and the confidence to stand behind creative decisions and communicate them clearly and collaboratively.
β’ Excellent communication skills. You can talk through your process, give and receive feedback, and work well in a remote team.
β’ Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work autonomously and manage projects end to end.
β’ Familiarity with AI animation tools is a genuine bonus.

How to apply
Ironically for an education company, weβre not huge sticklers for qualifications. Weβre more interested in how your skills and experience can contribute to our team. Make sure to include links to any relevant projects, like your portfolio, writing, GitHub, etc. - whatever helps us understand what you're good at, what you're passionate about, and why youβd be a great fit at Atomi.
Β
We also know great people come from all kinds of backgrounds, so even if you don't meet all the requirements we've listed, you should still apply.
A note on AI in our hiring processWe use AI like any good tool: to work more clearly and efficiently. It helps us think, challenge our assumptions and prepare, but every hiring decision is made by a person, not an algorithm.
