About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong backend skills to join the BI Reporting team at Attentive. This role involves building the client reporting experience within Attentive’s messaging and personalization platform, which empowers marketers with the information needed to make decisions and drive meaningful growth.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build backend services that power client reporting experiences, ensuring code quality, scalability, reliability, and performance
- →Drive architectural discussions and write RFCs to document technical decisions
- →Improve project quality through code contributions and advocacy for larger-scale changes
- →Partner with Product Management and Design to meet users’ needs without sacrificing quality or accruing tech debt
- →Implement tests and monitors to prevent regressions and catch production errors
- →Become an SME for the team’s backend systems, mentoring other engineers
- →Occasionally contribute to frontend development
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of professional experience with web technologies
- ✓Experience on full-stack product development teams
- ✓Proficient in backend development with Java, Python, or Go
- ✓Junior to mid-level frontend experience with React and TypeScript
- ✓Significant experience with backend architecture
- ✓Track record of technical leadership
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓Experience being on-call
