About the Role

We are looking for a Control Systems Software Engineer to join Aurora’s Autonomy Controls Software Team. This role involves designing, implementing, integrating, and verifying the motion control system for Aurora Driver with all vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop motion control algorithms for a safety-critical system
→Analyze control system performance in both offline and on-road execution environments
→Verify robustness of system to disturbances, failure modes, and environmental conditions

Requirements

✓Experience building production-quality C++ code
✓8+ years of experience working on control systems for vehicle platforms in automotive, aerospace, robotics, or related fields
✓Experience in control system design with a solid foundation in control theory
✓Experience analyzing/simulating nonlinear vehicle dynamics
✓Knowledge of state estimation and signal processing techniques
