About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Product Designer to join Aurora's Operations Experience Product Design Team. This role will own the design of the Command Center overseer experience, focusing on tools and workflows to monitor and manage autonomous truck activity.

Key Responsibilities

→Own the end-to-end design for the Command Center overseer experience
→Identify and solve pain points for operations leads in monitoring and intervention workflows
→Create high-fidelity prototypes in Figma to model how the Aurora Driver communicates status to the Command Center
→Work with engineering and product teams to define, explore, and ship solutions
→Influence strategic direction by presenting design rationale to leadership

Requirements

✓8+ years of experience in product design
✓A portfolio of exceptional product design and craft
✓Experience designing operational tools, dashboards, or workflow management systems
✓Strong interaction design skills with a high bar for visual design
✓Ability to translate complex information architectures into intuitive user experiences
✓Ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive cross-functional alignment
