About the Role
We are looking for a Media Supervisor to join our team at Avalere Health. This role involves managing high-level brand and consumer insights to drive media strategy and planning, while developing people management skills across media plan development and execution. The Supervisor will lead strategic client engagements and contribute to business growth through compelling insights and market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop, implement, revise, and maintain strategic and integrated client media plans and marketing recommendations
- →Build plan options that deliver against objectives and strategies, investigating media opportunities with well-supported points of view
- →Exhibit in-depth understanding of digital media channels such as SEM, Programmatic, and Social, with traditional channel knowledge as a plus
- →Work with clients to develop clear business cases around opportunities for engagement based on business objectives
- →Articulate media, competitive, targeting, marketplace, and landscape trends, applying findings to client implications
- →Manage client communication on all day-to-day business needs, providing quality work in a timely and responsive manner
- →Monitor, analyze, and interpret campaign results with analytics teams, preparing optimization recommendations regularly
- →Lead and motivate team members, overseeing account activities and providing guidance on priorities
- →Manage a staff of media professionals, developing them through performance management and consistent feedback
- →Mentor Associates and Planners, identifying developmental opportunities and helping them work toward professional goals
- →Manage human resource administration, including recruiting, performance management, and conflict resolution
- →Serve as a liaison among Avalere Health departments and develop agency management and client relationships
- →Maintain thorough, real-time knowledge of client business and establish processes with clear direction
- →Manage and be accountable for media budgets and client billing, ensuring accurate status reports
- →Coordinate with creative teams on timely delivery of assets for proper campaign launches
- →Contribute to new business pitches, brainstorms, and ideation sessions
Requirements
- ✓BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- ✓Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
- ✓4+ years of experience in Strategy, Planning, and/or Digital with strong ability to lead the media planning process
- ✓Experience in HCP and DTC healthcare media strongly desired
- ✓1+ year(s) of experience in managing or developing a staff
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with ability to communicate to vendors and clients
- ✓Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks proactively
- ✓Proficiency with Microsoft Desktop programs, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- ✓Strong organizational and analytical skills
- ✓Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
