About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join AvePoint, a global leader in data management and governance. This role offers an opportunity to develop essential sales skills in the tech industry and gain deep industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

→Research, identify, and qualify potential customer organizations and prospects
→Conduct outbound prospecting efforts, including cold calls, to drive new business opportunities
→Position AvePoint effectively to facilitate a high conversion of leads to qualified pipeline opportunities
→Schedule and coordinate appointments with potential customers to support the sales pipeline
→Develop and maintain strong relationships with end customers to foster long-term engagement
→Work with sales account executives and other departments to help prospect their territories
→Record accurate customer data into our CRM system

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification through relevant vocational training
✓Prior cold calling experience or first sales experience, preferably in IT sales
✓Fluent in both Dutch and English, French would be a plus
✓An ability to understand technical concepts and convey them to customers
✓Excellent communication and listening skills and ability to engage in conversations comfortably
