About the Role
We are seeking a MES/OT Business Analyst to join our IT team and serve as a key consultant who bridges the gap between shop-floor automation and business operations. This critical role is integral to the FX/MFG4.0 solution portfolio, requiring deep expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Operational Technology (OT), and Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead key requirement workshops and translate business objectives into detailed functional specifications
- →Analyze business needs and define the logical solution for MES/OT functionality
- →Contribute to Digital Transformation Initiatives and System Architecture design between ERP/MES/OT
- →Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and integration gaps
- →Translate technical capabilities into business value and build ROI cases
- →Support digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives
- →Conduct detailed data analysis and lead data conversion projects
- →Manage testing execution, regression testing, and defect resolution
- →Monitor project dates and manage a portfolio of projects end-to-end
- →Develop and deliver formal training and best-of-class procedures
- →Document business processes, workflows, requirements, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience working on manufacturing/IT projects in the SCM Manufacturing/MES area
- ✓Extensive knowledge of the Manufacturing domain, MES, and Advanced Production Scheduling (APS)
- ✓Familiarity with global digital solution standardization and plant rollout model
- ✓Supply Chain Planning/Production Scheduling and manufacturing knowledge
- ✓Working knowledge of Supply Chain domains such as Order Management, Inventory, and Warehouse
- ✓Strong creativity and troubleshooting skills
- ✓Knowledge of MES functions and its integration with ERP
- ✓Familiarity with industrial communication protocols
- ✓Very organized and structured in methodology and work habits
- ✓Highly effective communication and listening skills
- ✓Willingness and ability to travel frequently
