Position Overview
The Industry Partnership Manager ensures the development, growth, and management of key aviation industry partnerships across Cotulla Education’s aviation campuses. This role is responsible for cultivating and expanding national and multi-campus employer relationships, driving enterprise hiring pipelines, and generating employer investment opportunities that strengthen workforce alignment and institutional growth.
As a member of the Partnerships team, the Industry Partnership Manager defines account tier strategy, advances vertical partnership initiatives, and identifies new revenue and expansion opportunities within the aerospace sector. This position serves as the primary enterprise-facing representative for designated industry partners and collaborates with campus leadership teams to ensure consistent and effective campus-level benefit.
Through strategic relationship management, market intelligence, and disciplined planning, the Industry Partnership Manager enhances Cotulla Education’s industry presence, employer value proposition, and long-term workforce partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Ownership & Tier Governance
• Own and manage a portfolio of National, Strategic, and Growth aviation partnerships, and other industries as assigned, serving as the primary enterprise-level relationship lead.
• Develop and execute structured engagement plans outlining hiring pipeline targets, revenue-generating opportunities, employer investment opportunities, and long-term partnership growth strategies.
• Define and maintain employer partnership tier classifications in alignment with aerospace industry engagement strategy and institutional priorities.
• Act as the senior institutional lead for designated key aerospace partners, engaging executive and workforce leadership to advance multi-campus partnership initiatives.
• Identify partnership expansion opportunities and develop recommended agreement terms, sponsorship models, and workforce initiatives for senior leadership review and approval.
• Conduct regular partner performance reviews to assess relationship health, hiring activity, revenue contribution, and strategic alignment across campuses.
Revenue & Employer Investment Development
• Identify and develop employer investment opportunities within assigned aerospace accounts, including sponsorships, tuition partnerships, workforce development agreements, and structured hiring commitments.
• Facilitate revenue growth across designated National and Strategic partners by expanding employer participation in multi-campus hiring pipelines and partnership initiatives.
• Develop partnership proposals, workforce program models, and employer engagement frameworks aligned to institutional priorities and industry workforce needs.
• Lead negotiation discussions with employer partners and recommend partnership terms, pricing structures, and agreement parameters for senior leadership approval.
• Monitor employer investment activity, partnership expansion efforts, and partner growth trends to inform performance reporting and strategic planning.
Industry Strategy & Market Expansion
• Monitor aerospace industry trends, workforce demands, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape shifts to inform partnership strategy and institutional alignment.
• Identify new national and regional aerospace employer prospects aligned with program offerings and long-term workforce demand.
• Provide market intelligence and employer insights to the senior leadership team to support strategic planning and program development decisions.
• Recommend strategic initiatives to expand Cotulla Education’s aerospace industry presence, partner engagement model, and multi-campus partnership opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with Regional Partnership Managers, student success teams, Academic leadership, Campus Executive Directors, and other regional coordinators to ensure alignment and effective execution of partnership initiatives
• Contribute to the implementation of new partnership programs, hiring pipelines, and apprenticeship initiatives.
• Participate in regular team meetings, partnership briefings, and cross‑regional collaboration sessions.
Data, Reporting & Communication
• Document employer interactions, engagement activities, and relevant partnership metrics in designated systems.
• Prepare regional engagement summaries and contribute insights to national partnership reporting.
• Monitor hiring outcomes, student participation, and partnership performance metrics for assigned employers.
Regional Partnership Alignment & Oversight
• Collaborate with Regional Partnership Managers, Student Success and Campus Executive Directors to ensure consistent execution of national and strategic employer partnerships across campuses.
• Translate enterprise partner strategies into coordinated campus-level engagement plans aligned with hiring pipeline objectives and employer commitments.
• Review partnership performance across assigned campuses, identifying implementation barriers, and recommend corrective actions to strengthen outcomes.
• Provide regular portfolio updates to senior leadership, summarizing account performance, campus alignment, employer engagement activity, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Education
•
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, Workforce Development, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in aviation industry partnerships, workforce development, employer engagement, or business development within the aviation sector.
• Demonstrated success managing strategic employer relationships and expanding multi-site or national accounts.
• Experience developing partnership proposals, workforce initiatives, or employer-sponsored programs aligned to institutional or organizational growth objectives.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and executive-level communication skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed, multi-campus environment without direct supervisory authority.
• Proven ability to analyze market trends, workforce demands, and account performance data to inform strategic decisions.
• Comfortable operating in a performance-driven, compliance-oriented educational or workforce environment.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and executive presence when representing the institution externally.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple strategic accounts and initiatives simultaneously.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40–50% as required for employer and campus engagement.

Work Schedule:
• This is a full-time, remote role. The position requires regular availability during standard business hours and flexibility to support a multi-campus, multi-state organization as needed.
