About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Product Designer to set direction and lead the design of complex, insight-rich product areas within Awin. This role focuses on translating complex data models into intuitive user experiences and mentoring a team of designers.

Key Responsibilities

→Drive human-centred design across multiple product areas, including data-intensive and analytics-led experiences
→Shape product vision and strategy in collaboration with cross-functional leadership
→Translate complex data models into clear, usable interfaces, dashboards, and visualisations
→Define best practices for data visualisation, filtering, reporting, and insight communication
→Lead strategic discovery and design workshops to align teams
→Direct the creation of high-quality design outputs with a strong focus on usability
→Mentor a team of Product Designers, providing feedback and coaching
→Partner with Engineering and Product to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
→Drive adoption and evolution of our design system
→Advocate for design thinking and user research practices throughout the organization

Requirements

✓Significant experience as a Senior or Lead Product Designer with a strong portfolio
✓Proven leadership experience in setting direction and mentoring designers
✓Deep understanding of human-centred design, UX best practices, and interaction design principles
✓Strong experience designing data-rich products, including dashboards and analytics platforms
✓Ability to interpret and challenge complex data models
✓Strong grasp of data visualisation principles and best practices
✓Strategic thinking ability with both big-picture and detail-oriented approaches
✓Strong collaboration skills with product managers, engineers, and data specialists
✓Experience facilitating workshops, design critiques, and stakeholder sessions
✓Fluent in design tools like Figma and experienced in agile product environments
✓Passion for coaching and enabling others in a positive team culture
