About the Role
Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Specialty Account Manager to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies and establish relationships with customers. This field-based role requires engaging with customers in clinic or hospital settings while also utilizing digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve quarterly and annual goals
- →Promote products within approved labeling guidelines
- →Develop strong customer relationships by understanding their needs
- →Serve as a resource to customers regarding payer policies and processes
- →Maximize use of marketing resources to grow customer confidence in prescribing Axsome medications
- →Communicate territory activity accurately and timely
- →Provide feedback to sales and commercial leadership
- →Complete all training classes and administrative duties
- →Manage promotional budget effectively
- →Collaborate across corporate functions
- →Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed
- →Ensure timely patient access through services and savings programs
- →Travel overnight as business needs require
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- ✓Minimum of 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management
- ✓Minimum of 3 years Healthcare Professional experience with relevant CNS experience
- ✓5 years of consistent top performance in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical sales
- ✓Must live in the territory's geography
- ✓Experience strategizing within cross-functional teams
- ✓Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under aggressive timelines
- ✓Strong digital marketing aptitude
- ✓Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- ✓Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs regularly
- ✓Frequent driving, including extended periods of time behind the wheel
- ✓Prolonged sitting and standing as part of daily job functions
- ✓Overhead reaching required to close and secure liftgates or similar equipment
