About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Software Engineer to join the Azul Core team, focusing on ensuring the quality of Azul Builds of OpenJDK. This role involves executing and improving automated test systems capable of running millions of tests daily, with opportunities to work remotely and collaborate with top experts worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- →Execute automated tests and analyze results for Azul builds of OpenJDK
- →Organize and optimize execution and analysis of large-scale test suites across multiple platforms
- →Improve and maintain test system infrastructure for reliability and scalability
- →Contribute to adoption of AI/ML tools to enhance team performance and efficiency
Requirements
- ✓Several years of professional experience as a Quality Software Engineer or Software Engineer (ideally 4+)
- ✓Strong knowledge of Java SE, including hands-on coding and understanding of JVM internals
- ✓Proficiency in shell scripting and CLI operations
- ✓Ability to work in cross-platform environments including Unix, Windows, AWS, and Azure
- ✓Familiarity with AI/ML tools for coding assistance and test automation
- ✓Upper-intermediate level of English for professional communication
