About the Role
We are seeking a Senior User Researcher to join our small but high-impact User Research function at Back Market, a global marketplace for refurbished devices. You will lead research to ensure our offerings resonate with consumers and align with market trends, shaping every stage of the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead exploratory and strategic research studies to build deep understanding of customers and the market landscape
- →Drive research at the innovation and ideation stages, designing and executing studies to evaluate new concepts
- →Design and run high-quality research studies across the full customer journey
- →Coach designers to plan and run effective usability testing, fostering a culture of curiosity and user-centricity
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in User Research or an adjacent field
- ✓Extensive experience leading qualitative and quantitative research studies end-to-end
- ✓Solid experience designing and executing research to inform both product and strategic decisions
- ✓Experience coaching non-researchers to conduct research
- ✓Excellent communication skills and empathy
- ✓Balance of technical research skills, business acumen, and stakeholder management
