About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join Bedrock, a company deploying autonomous systems on heavy construction machinery. You'll collaborate with construction veterans and engineers to build core services and applications for autonomous construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, build, and iterate on 0-to-1 services and infrastructure to support autonomous operations and distributed fleet management
→Develop user-facing products for machine operators to visualize and monitor robotics systems
→Partner with a full stack team to design technical solutions efficiently
→Build tooling and applications to streamline processes such as autonomous testing and model deployments
→Establish core application frameworks, patterns, and infrastructure

Requirements

✓6+ years of professional experience designing and implementing backends for complex applications
✓Expertise in writing production-level code in Rust, Python, Go and working with databases like PostgresSQL
✓Experience with rapid prototyping and building from the ground up in startup environments
✓Capability to design and implement application architectures from first principles
