About the Role

The High Voltage System Program Manager at BETA Technologies will lead the planning and execution of activities from R&D production engineering through certification for energy storage and distribution systems. This role bridges aircraft system development, regulatory compliance, and production to ensure safety, performance, and delivery of emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

→Guide engineering design teams to ensure timely and successful execution of complex projects
→Align with other Project and Program Managers to ensure successful system integration
→Manage planning and completion of certification activities involving design validation and verification
→Develop and maintain detailed project plans and tracking mechanisms
→Coordinate reviews and major milestone activities with necessary teams
→Manage overall program risk by coordinating risk mitigation strategies
→Establish a cross-functional Integrated Program Team to ensure alignment between engineering, certification, quality, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing teams

Requirements

✓Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
✓5 years of project or program management experience
✓Understanding of regulatory certification processes including type certification and production certification
✓Proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion
✓Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
✓Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
✓Familiarity with Project Management software (Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.)
✓Familiar with Microsoft Office product suite
