About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Airport Product Engineering team at BEUMER Group. This role focuses on developing complex software solutions for airport automation, specifically working with the CrisBag baggage handling system.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive the implementation of entire new functionalities, either independently or by leading a small group of Software Developers
- →Facilitate knowledge sharing and act as a technical role model within the team
- →Have an overview of the solution, identifying areas for possible improvements
- →Lead the analysis, design, estimations, and prototyping for new product ideas
- →Ensure and facilitate peer reviews to maintain code quality
- →Demonstrate leadership by effectively communicating and collaborating with colleagues
Requirements
- ✓A degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- ✓Solid experience with micro-service architecture, containerization and Docker
- ✓Solid experience in JAVA
- ✓Advanced certifications in software development or emerging technologies are a plus
- ✓Several years of professional software development experience
- ✓Strong experience in product development, with a focus on quality and innovation
- ✓Proficiency in Agile development methodologies
