About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Engineering team at BigID, an innovative tech startup focused on data security, compliance, privacy, and AI data management. This role involves simulating large-scale environments, testing, and providing feedback on product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop, design, and maintain robust test automation frameworks utilizing contemporary tools such as Playwright and Cypress
- →Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive end-to-end automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and data processing pipelines
- →Accelerate test development by creating and maintaining reusable test components, utilities, and libraries
- →Design and implement comprehensive API test automation
- →Continuously improve and maintain existing automation suites (regression, smoke, and sanity tests)
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, infrastructure, DevOps) to improve system efficiency
- →Work with core infrastructure components like K8s, Kafka, databases
- →Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Requirements
- ✓A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field
- ✓7+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- ✓5+ years of hands-on experience with test automation frameworks
- ✓Strong experience building end-to-end test automation from scratch
- ✓Proven track record of testing enterprise web applications or SaaS platforms
- ✓Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- ✓Experience testing complex data workflows or data-intensive applications
