About the Role
BillionToOne is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join their Commercial Data & Applied AI team. This role involves designing and implementing AI and automation solutions to optimize operations across commercial, billing, and customer experience teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and deploy LLM-powered applications that integrate with internal systems and data sources
- →Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define success metrics
- →Develop lightweight data pipelines and analytics to support AI applications
- →Own projects end-to-end from prototyping through production deployment
- →Establish best practices for prompt engineering and responsible AI use
- →Lead internal training sessions on LLM fundamentals and AI-assisted development tools
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or ML engineering
- ✓Hands-on experience building applications with LLM APIs
- ✓Strong Python proficiency and comfort with SQL and relational databases
- ✓Experience deploying and maintaining production systems
- ✓Familiarity with AWS
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity
