About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join our team at Bjak, the largest insurance portal in Southeast Asia. This role focuses on developing new user-facing features and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop new user-facing features using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks
- →Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code
- →Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- →Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement responsive design principles
- →Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and standards compliance
- →Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic
- →Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- ✓Proven experience as a Frontend Software Engineer or similar role
- ✓Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- ✓Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework
- ✓Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and tools
- ✓Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- ✓Ability to work independently and in a team environment
