About the Role
We are looking for a Video Editor (Social Media Content) who lives and breathes short-form storytelling. You’ll edit videos designed to capture attention, drive engagement, and spark conversations across various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- →Edit short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and XHS.
- →Craft visually engaging edits with strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling flow.
- →Add subtitles, transitions, music, and visual effects to enhance impact and watch time.
- →Adapt content across different platforms while maintaining consistency in tone and message.
- →Work closely with Creative, Social Media, and Marketing teams to bring campaign concepts and weekly content calendars to life.
- →Stay ahead of social media trends, editing styles, and viral formats across platforms.
- →Maintain organized project files, media archives, and version control.
Requirements
- ✓Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film, Multimedia, Communications, or related field.
- ✓1–3 years of experience in short-form video editing or social media content production.
- ✓Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
- ✓Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and audience behavior.
- ✓Keen eye for pacing, storytelling, and on-platform tone of voice.
- ✓Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times.
- ✓A showreel or portfolio of short-form social content is required.
