About the Role
We are looking for a Debit Card and Transfers Product Manager to own the principal ways merchants spend and move money from Square Checking. This role will lead the cross-functional team that designs and builds card management, spend and money movement features that surprise and delight sellers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define the key objectives for your products (growth of MAUs, ticket size, spend volume, etc)
- →Define the product strategy and prioritize and deliver a roadmap to achieve your outcomes
- →Collaborate with the Square Credit Card team to build card and spend management primitives
- →Deeply understand your product performance, paying careful attention to the product funnel and cohorted usage behaviors
- →Understand and manage the unit economics and the financial performance of your products
- →Work closely with risk, compliance, legal, card networks, partner banks, and financial operations teams
Requirements
- ✓At least 6 years of experience in product management, preferably in fintech or payments
- ✓Curiosity, empathy and an irresistible urge to go talk to Square’s customers
- ✓Impeccable product intuition combined with high numeracy and a bias to data-driven action
- ✓A demonstrable track record building strategies and executing on a roadmap to grow product adoption and usage
- ✓Standout cross-functional collaboration, especially with design and engineering
- ✓You can inspire people through your clear written and verbal communication
- ✓An understanding of payments rails, card networks, risk, and fraud is a bonus
