About the Role
We are looking for a Software Backend Engineer to join Bloomreach's Pulsar team. You will work on building platform and admin services that all Bloomreach SaaS products rely on, developing features used by thousands of customers and delivering fast, consistent product releases.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign and implement RESTful APIs for external AI agents
- βDevelop multi-product customer provisioning and licensing orchestration
- βCreate integrated user management, authentication, and authorization systems
- βImplement high-availability, centralized configuration management
- βBuild tools for new customer integration and product tuning
- βReview code and provide technical guidance to team members
- βCollaborate with cross-functional teams on technical requirements
Requirements
- β3+ years of experience developing backend services with Python
- βUnderstanding of web security principles (OWASP), Authentication, and Authorization practices
- βExperience designing APIs for a SaaS product
- βExperience operating services in production on public cloud infrastructure
- βSome experience with Java / Spring or Go
- βExposure to web frontend development (Angular / React)
- βActive user of AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code
