About the Role
Bluesight is seeking a part-time Technical Support Specialist to provide technical support for hardware, software, and mobile devices. This role involves a hybrid work arrangement with some time in the Alexandria, VA office and some hours remote work-from-home.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and mobile devices across the organization.
- →Install, configure, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade laptop hardware and software
- →Troubleshooting equipment support, inventory tracking, and mobile device management.
- →Troubleshoot issues in person, by phone, email, and through helpdesk software
- →Track, manage, and ship IT equipment and maintain accurate inventory records
- →Document troubleshooting steps taken and escalate issues when appropriate.
Requirements
- ✓Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop hardware and software support or configuration
- ✓Minimum of 2 years of hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
- ✓Strong technical knowledge of Mac and Windows-based desktop hardware and software
- ✓Experience administering the Google Workspace applications
- ✓Tech-savvy and comfortable leveraging technical tools
- ✓Strong and reliable internet access from your home
- ✓Strong communication skills
- ✓Customer service orientation
- ✓Availability to work part-time hours during EST business hours
