Hires local to the Twin Cities Metro-Area can anticipate an in-office component of 1-2 days a week, employed with Bold Orange. If this position lists, “Open to Remote”, hires outside of the metro area can anticipate travel to our Minneapolis, MN office on an as-requested basis. Position Summary:
Bold Orange is seeking an experienced, reliable, efficient, and uniquely qualified Senior Account Manager to join our growing, human-led, purposeful, brave, and future focused agency. As a member of our stellar client strategy and services team, you can expect to collaborate with the best of the best to identify, manage, and execute agency and client initiatives that result in forward thinking, top notch, customer experience solutions. The Senior Account manager, passionate for the details, proactive and resourceful, works to support “out of the box” solutions from start to finish.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Guide client objectives and timelines from conception through delivery
• Dive deep to learn the client’s business, including company business goals and objectives, products, markets, brand positioning, competitive landscape, industry, distribution, etc.
• Collaborate, contribute, strategize, and support client solutions that deliver “And Then Some”
• Develop, nurture, and grow strong client relationships, assessing client needs and proposing appropriate marketing services
• Manage multiple, simultaneous projects working with cross-functional team members that include internal and external resources
• Negotiate changes, navigate challenges, and lead solutions
• Share updates and results often
• Come prepared and confidently contribute to powerful client presentations to provide insights and solutions
• Be an active listener and guide client meetings (in person, by phone or video conference) and ensure follow up on all discussions internally and externally
• Serve as a constant resource to the team and our clients
Required Qualifications:
• 4-6 years of client relationship management experience within a marketing/advertising agency setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Mass Communications
• Experience with CPG, B2B, and/or B2C industries preferred
• Solid understanding of digital marketing and the implications that technology has on developing strategies and execution
• Strong email CRM experience a must
• Strong ability to anticipate, plan and prioritize to manage the workload effectively and efficiently
• Confidently own initiatives
