About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Engineering and Data Solutions department. This role focuses on creating software products with a strong emphasis on security, quality, and automation for continuous data flow in the vehicle-to-cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop data integration solutions for large-scale automotive R&D applications
- →Design, test, and document reliable and high-quality data integration solutions
- →Design Proof-of-concepts and pitch for implementation
- →Contribute to the architecture and implementation of software products for near-real-time processing
- →Develop solutions for scalable and automatic data processing using ETL/ELT in Big Data frameworks
- →Create and maintain data visualizations in collaboration with domain experts
- →Work in an agile environment with an internationally distributed team
- →Present and communicate solutions to an international audience
- →Guide and mentor new team members
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience with Python and data libraries (pandas, numpy, scipy)
- ✓Experience with Golang, Scala, or Java
- ✓Knowledge of Apache Spark and Pyspark
- ✓Familiarity with Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory)
- ✓Experience with automation tools (Azure DevOps, Apache Airflow, Jenkins)
- ✓Understanding of streaming and messaging technologies (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT)
- ✓Experience with virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- ✓Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB)
- ✓Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
- ✓Proficiency with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket)
