Key Responsibilities
- βTake ownership for the definition, updating, and communication of the HydraForce Supplier Quality Assurance Manual requirements internally and externally
- βWork with the Purchasing Team to identify, qualify, and develop suppliers to meet business needs
- βMonitor supplier performance across Impact, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics
- βDevelop and implement follow-up mechanisms with suppliers to improve quality performance
- βSupport Project Engineering during program review meetings
- βAssist with PPAP documentation development and approval processes
- βProvide feedback to suppliers on PPAP submissions
- βMonitor and support actions to address supplier performance issues
- βAssist with new product program launches to ensure specification adherence
- βProvide process knowledge to identify areas for improvement
- βRepresent the supply base in APQP activities
- βAssist internal stakeholders with Design for Manufacturing optimization
Requirements
- βStrong understanding of Supplier Quality Assurance principles
- βExperience with PPAP documentation and quality management systems
- βKnowledge of FMEA, MSA, and process flow charting
- βAbility to analyze supplier performance data
- βExperience with APQP and Design for Manufacturing
- βExcellent communication and problem-solving skills
- βAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
