About the Role
We are seeking a Hardware Designer to lead a team in designing and developing hardware components for battery management systems, including both low-voltage and high-voltage systems. This role requires expertise in project management, functional safety, and electronic circuit design.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead a team of hardware designers in developing components for battery management systems
- →Define project scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation for hardware development projects
- →Conduct requirement analysis and manage requirements using DOORS
- →Design electronic circuits and create creepage distance matrices
- →Review PCB layouts and select components using DAR
- →Document development processes and results, including test plans and reports
- →Perform FMEA and FMEDA for developed modules
- →Conduct Monte Carlo simulations and worst-case calculations
- →Perform hardware verification and support validation according to LV124 and ISO 16750 standards
Requirements
- ✓Experience in leading hardware design teams
- ✓Knowledge of functional safety topics for hardware
- ✓Proficiency in requirement analysis and DOORS
- ✓Expertise in electronic circuit design, including analog, digital, and power electronics
- ✓Experience with PCB layout review and component selection
- ✓Strong debugging skills and hands-on soldering experience
- ✓Ability to use lab equipment such as oscilloscope, high voltage power supply, and function generator
- ✓Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office applications
