About the Role
We are looking for a Business Data Engineer to join our team at Boskalis Nederland. This role involves providing technical support for Power BI and SharePoint, working closely with our Netherlands-based team to develop, maintain, and enhance technical applications on both platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- →Build efficient and scalable data models tailored to business information needs.
- →Write robust DAX formulas and Power Query transformations.
- →Design dashboards with strong visualization and UX/UI principles.
- →Improve data pipelines and ensure strong data quality.
- →Work with different data sources including SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- →Utilize SharePoint functional skills including site architecture, modern pages, web parts, lists, libraries, and permissions.
- →Automate processes with Power Automate.
Requirements
- ✓Proven expertise in Power BI is a requirement for this position.
- ✓Familiarity with SharePoint is considered an advantage.
- ✓Experience with Agile and DevOps working methodologies is considered an advantage.
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- ✓The working language in the team is Dutch; proficiency in English is required and knowledge of Dutch is considered a plus.
