About the Role
We are looking for a Network Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance for network devices and system hardware. This role involves troubleshooting, analysis, and implementation of networking solutions in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- βPerform troubleshooting including problem recognition, root cause analysis, research, isolation, resolution, follow-up, and documentation
- βConduct functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, planning, and configuration of networking, hardware, and/or software
- βPerform maintenance on network devices and system hardware and software including the restoration of hardware, software or configurations
- βLead implementations and rollouts of new networking, hardware, software, and tools
- βAssist in the training and supervision of Network Engineers
- βParticipate in disaster recovery testing
- βResearch and identify hardware and software to meet Company needs
- βPrepare detailed functional specifications and coordinate RFPs
Requirements
- βExperience working in a highly regulated environment (MICS, PCI, SOX)
- βStrong network fundamentals including the OSI model, TCP/IP, IPv4 and working knowledge of IPv6
- βAbility to act in a lead role in integrating and schematically depicting communication architectures
- βExperience in developing test strategies, devices, and systems
- βExperience in leading implementations and rollouts of new networking, hardware, software, and tools
