A Little Bit About the Role and Team:
Step into the vibrant world of our eCommerce Content Factory (ECF), where you will be instrumental in crafting and localising high-volume beauty content for the skin and hair categories across multiple European markets. Achieveing creative excellence across all eCommerce touchpoints is crucial, and we are seeking a visionary Senior Creative Technologist to bridge the gap between creative and technical teams.
This role offers the chance to work with iconic beauty brands as we launch a groundbreaking Europe-wide eCommerce Content Factory. By integrating automation and AI (using platforms like Pencil and Abyssale), we aim to revolutionise content creation and set new digital standards for online beauty experiences. You will be responsible for developing innovative technological solutions that enhance our advertising campaigns, ensuring they are both compelling and scalable.
What you will be doing:
- Experience in Beauty and Fashion brands is a MUST, combined with a strong background in eCommerce content production.
- Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Designers, and Strategists to conceptualize and prototype advanced technology-driven advertising solutions (AI-powered tools).
- Lead the development and implementation of automation workflows.
- Identify new technology trends and assess their applicability to the brand advertising objectives, ensuring our strategies remain at the forefront of industry practices.
- Oversee the technical execution of projects, ensuring all high-volume adaptations meet quality standards and are completed within tight eCommerce deadlines.
- Bridge the gap between technology and creativity by turning Pencil/Abyssale capabilities into reliable, repeatable tools and workflows for the wider agency team.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior creatives and technologists, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Partner with account teams to present technical concepts and solutions to the client, articulating complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges that may arise during project lifecycles.
What you need to be great at this role:
- 8+ years’ experience as a Creative Technologist or in a similar role within the advertising, marketing, or digital media industries.Strong client organisation, influence, and relationship building.
- Proven experience in High-Volume Adaptation and familiarity with automation production.
- Deep knowledge of Generative AI tools (e.g., Pencil, OpenAI, Runway, Adobe Firefly) and how to integrate them into creative workflows.
- Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- An impressive portfolio showcasing past projects that highlight your ability to merge beauty aesthetics with technical innovation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think "outside the box" in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator with teams and clients.
