About the Role
We are seeking a Senior MI Analyst with experience as a Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer to own the accuracy, integrity and strategic value of data across our global client accounts. This role focuses on enabling account leadership to make confident, data-driven decisions through MI dashboards and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- →Setup custom SQL queries to resolve complex data inquiries and integrate AI into daily business operations
- →Ensure all data feeding MI dashboards is accurate, complete and validate, build QA checks, flag anomalies and drive corrective actions
- →Deliver advanced BI and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric
- →Build and manage data pipelines via Azure Data Factory
- →Develop robust reporting frameworks using Power BI Integrated with Fabric
- →Develop reports and management information (MI) dashboards that adhere to project briefs and client KPIs
- →Identify patterns and emerging trends using descriptive and diagnostic analytics
- →Partner with senior internal and client stakeholders to understand their requirements
- →Review and streamline data capturing and reporting processes to improve accuracy
- →Coach and mentor junior team members, provide bandwidth support to the head of the department
Requirements
- ✓5 – 10 years’ experience in MI, Business analysis and reporting with progression to a senior level
- ✓Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, merging datasets, pivot tables)
- ✓Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric – understanding lakehouse concepts, medallion architecture, and pipeline orchestration
- ✓Strong SQL skills and cloud-native data engineering experience
- ✓Confidence working with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and enterprise data models
- ✓Proficiency in utilising AI technologies and various large language models (LLMs)
- ✓Strong business analysis skills – documenting and defining KPIs, prioritising competing stakeholder demands
- ✓Understanding of marketing / commercial operations and relevant KPIs
- ✓Excellent communication skills – comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and translating technical concepts into business language
- ✓Self-motivated, organised and proactive – able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and follow through
- ✓Collaborative team player with a problem-solving mindset, big-picture thinking and a positive, can-do attitude
