About the Role
We are looking for a Site Automation Engineer to join our team at Bright Machines. This role will be responsible for the performance and reliability of robotic assembly systems deployed at a major customer site. You will serve as the primary technical interface between the customer, manufacturing partners, field teams, and our remote experts.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the performance and reliability of robotic assembly systems
- →Interact with customer and manufacturing partners about equipment performance
- →Collect customer feedback and share it within the organization
- →Serve as the primary interface between remote technical experts and on-site teams
- →Use troubleshooting skills, live data, and diagnostic tools to resolve hardware and software issues
- →Maintain status reports at various levels of detail
- →Educate and train customers on device operation, maintenance, and repair
- →Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns
- →Travel up to 10% for training
Requirements
- ✓Experience in an automation and robotics environment
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- ✓Automation, robotics, and PLC experience
- ✓Understanding of Recipe Debug
- ✓Experience using Vision systems for inspection
- ✓Confidence around electro-mechanical systems
- ✓Technical documentation experience
- ✓Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems
- ✓Ability to follow electrical and mechanical drawings
- ✓Self-starter with minimal supervision
- ✓Calm, collected demeanor and commitment to customer service
