About the Role
We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team at Brillio, a digital technology service provider. This role involves working with clients to define digital strategy and implement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own software delivery tasks including code development, testing, deployment, and documentation
- →Troubleshoot and refactor existing code for exceptional quality
- →Participate in agile processes and contribute to team decisions
- →Automate build, operate, and run aspects of software
- →Drive integration of services focusing on customer journey and experience
- →Perform demos and acceptance discussions with product owners
- →Mentor and guide new and less-experienced team members
- →Identify opportunities to improve processes and share knowledge
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of experience as a Java Developer
- ✓Excellent programming skills in OOP, SOLID, and 12-factor principles
- ✓Experience in CI/CD concepts and automation, pipelines, virtualization, and containerization
- ✓Exposure to Apache Kafka and Stream processing platform Apache Flink
- ✓Familiarity with secure coding standards like OWASP, CWE, and SEI CERT
- ✓Knowledge of infrastructure as code and cloud-first software development
- ✓Skills in test-driven and behavior-driven development (TDD and BDD)
- ✓Understanding of basic design patterns
- ✓Ability to write code in languages such as Java, Python, Go, and Bash for automation tasks
